For high-quality storage, grain must be stored at a certain humidity (for example, for corn, it is 14-18%). At the moment, elevators or mobile grain dryers with an open flame source are used for this. At the same time, to reduce the moisture content of grain by 1%, on average, more than 1 liter of fuel is needed per 1 ton of grain.
We are developing a grain dryer without an open combustion source.
The drying process will take place due to the contact of wet grain with hot dry air in the process of pneumatic transportation. Due to the absence of fuel in the technological process, the farmer will get rid of the need to deliver and store fuel for drying.
It will also reduce the consumption of fossil energy sources, fire hazards and greenhouse gas emissions.
